355 THOUSAND?? We bought a 5 bedroom 2 full bath 2,200 sq ft house in Syracuse NY for $76,320. 4 yrs ago It’s now valued at 83,000. Do these people know how stupid they are? What do they do for a living to afford $3,200 a month??
Don’t just walk away… burn the fker down. Fk the banksters.

Banks, corporations, and hedge funds walk away from losing contracts all the time. Why is a homeowner chastised for doing the same thing? It’s a double standard.

One thing that’s missing in most of the comments I’ve read is that if the house is foreclosed on and there’s no raccoons in the attic someone is going to buy it and either move in or rent it. So as far as society is concerned, where is the real loss? The only people who got shafted are the mortgage holders, i.e. the bank. Who care’s about them? The money they’re handing out is society’s anyway. Their bank license is a license to create money out of thin air.
I know; 1200 square feet, that’s less than 35 feet by 35 feet. Where is this place? Manhattan? You could rent that place for the rest of time for $1000 a month in the towns that most people live in. It’s this cult of home ownership that so many people bought into.
i attented a NACA event and saw miracles and experienced one myself. PLEASE people attend one if they are near you’re town and save your home. For example i went from $3,276 at 8% to $1,856 at 2% for the LIFE of the loan with INDY MAC including property tax and insurance. I walked out of there feeling like i had just won the lottery. GOD BLESS BRUCE MARKS, GOD BLESS NACA, AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL OUT THERE AND GOOD LUCK!

I’ll agree perhaps halfway….The banks were also manipulating the market and continue to do so till this day….limiting the number of foreclosed homes and even getting people to get back into the bidding wars that started this mess.

I think the banks committed fraud because they appraised the homes for more than they were worth and they knew it. I don’t feel sorry for the banks.
I blame these retarded people for buying on these terms in the first place. Christ, we can get unsecured loans at 9.95. They should walk away, but they should be penalized also for being so dumb.

Our only hope is to fight them back legally. I used two letters from an ebook I bought and stopped my house from going to auction 2 weeks before the auction date, that was a year ago!
