Get out your yellow pages……….
Call ALL the banks in your area, ask to speak to the head of the loan dept. or the bank manager, then ask them about the homes.
The banks don’t want to keep these homes, they will tell you something……a sell means money to them.
You could also try calling large mortage lenders such as CountryWide Home Loans and asking about properties in your area.
This way will take some persistence, but I bet it will be effective.
You know they want to sell the crap, and if they dont tell you I bet they can put you in contact with the person who has the answers.
Also try your local courthouse, and ask when they auction off houses, and how and when you can get a list of these houses.
My county has 2 auctions a year
The answer is that you can get a free list of foreclosures from any bank. Now they may get lazy and say they don’t have any or that you cannot get a list, but the reality of it is that you can get a list from any bank.
Target the larger banks; they have extensive lists for foreclosures. Also check out the service http://www.realquest.com I have seen this website and have been told that you can get homes right before they go into foreclosure.
I hope that helps,

Most lenders now have all their foreclosures listed on their web sites and you can check them. If they do not, you will need to call them and or better yet go see them, introduce your self and ask.
